Bowing over the sea rocks, stalagmites, and corals in the deep of the ocean of Eternia, the humanoid merman ruler of the people known as the Aquaticans gets ready to attack and repel against any trespasser on his domains, wielding his golden trident and expressing the fury on his face. With part of his green-skinned body partially covered by scales and protected by a golden chest armor with shoulder pads in the shape of fins, Iron Studios present the statue “Mer-Man BDS – Masters of the Universe- Art Scale 1/10” with the fish-man lord of the undersea kingdom, an ally of Skeletor’s forces and member of the Evil Warriors of Eternia.

A warlord native from the Crystal Sea on planet Eternia, and one of the first minions of Skeletor, although he reports to the Evil Lord at Snake Mountain, Mer-Man most of the time lives and acts inside his domains at the bottom of the ocean, many times operating independently from the other evil warriors, self-proclaimed king of the seas and ruler of his own underwater kingdom, followed by his aquatic henchmen who served as his soldiers. In the past, in the attempt to command Bakkull, the mightiest of the sea demons, he tried to sacrifice Zoar, the Sorceress in her falcon form but was stopped by Man-At-Arms. Twenty years later, he tried it again, this time trying to sacrifice the Sorceress’ daughter, Teela, but his plans were foiled again this time by He-Man and Zoar. Mer-Man has telepathic abilities that allow him to control other sea creatures, and he’s nearly invincible underwater. In the 2021 Masters of the Universe: Revelation series, produced by Netflix, Mer-Man’s voice actor is Kelvin Conroy, an American actor widely known as Batman’s voice in many other media.

Expanding their collection of the exponent Evil Warriors in their line of MOTU statues, Iron Studios bring Mer-Man, revealed in detail on the show Inside Iron Studios Day of November on YouTube.
